Blog?

As I happen to mention before, this blog is for my Webcasting class that I am taking this semester.  We had to get a blog, so this is where all of my work and class notes will be posted.  Maybe lurkers can learn something - there won't be lurkers.  Basically there will a lot of media through this blog instead of creating an entire server to host the media.

I chose blogger/blogspot because it was convenient, popular, simple, and user friendly.

Plus, I have already used some other online journals and this was new for me.

I am Cassandra, a freshman Communication major at Uarts.  I ultimately want to go into journalism as an entertainment writer, mainly focusing on music.  No, I don't mean stalking Britney Spears.  I would honestly be happy with anything in the Communication field.

I have a bit of a traveling background, I have been to 15 different states, and lived in 5 (kind of).

I was born in New Jersey.

I moved to West Virginia when I was 8.

I moved to Richmond, Virginia when I was 9.

My dad moved to Florida when I was 13.

I moved to Philadelphia for school when I was 17.

Some quick facts:

- I was born on Thanksgiving

- I was the youngest in my senior class

- I am the pop-punk queen

- I listen to dance music

- I am an awful speller

- I used to competitively public speak (Forensics) - I have about 11 awards from the years I did it, making it to States both years

- I am random and pointless and loud and obnoxious

- I love dance music, but can't dance

- I have a cat named Khat that will be 18 in May

- I am the mother of Warchief and Bellatrix - a guinea pig and a kitten - they really belong to Kirsten, but they call me Mommy too

- There's an awesome kid in Georgia that I am running away to Nebraska with to get married.

- I get free subs at subway

- I am straight edge.

The purpose of this blog is for my Webcasting class.  Some parts scare me, others not so much.

This post is pointless, I just felt obligated.
